Pathogen

Pathogens cause processes in our body that are harmful to health. In most cases, the pathogens are microorganisms, such as bacteria, fungi, parasites or algae. Unlike the aforementioned, viruses are infectious particles that can only reproduce with the help of a host. Pathogens can trigger violent reactions of the immune system, which in the worst case can lead to death.
